Create a backup of the skyrimprefs.ini file. Did you just activate vsync from nvidia gpu, or did you especially set it for skyrim from control panel application 3d settings?

I know that this post is quite old, but for anyone who stumbles across this post and is stuck on how to enable vsync, go to your desktop, right click then there should be a nvidia control. I’ve done a lot of digging and i know my pc is trying to render faster than skyrim will let it, and i need to enable vsync, but i have no idea how to do that. Did You Just Activate Vsync From Nvidia Gpu, Or Did You Especially Set It For Skyrim From Control Panel Application 3D Settings?

Couldn't get it to work so i changed it to ipresentinterval=1 to. You can set max refresh in the ini file, but that's different from vsync. So i added ipresentinterval=0 to my skyrimpreferences.ini and then tried to force vsync+triple buffering with d3doverrider.
